Osaka University Global Engagement: News & Topics on Advanced Immunology Events
Three early-career researchers from University College London (UCL) and the University of Melbourne, both recognized as Global Knowledge Partners of Osaka University, were recently invited to attend the 3rd International School on Advanced Immunology.
Event Details
The event took place from October 27 to October 31, 2024, at the Awaji Yumebutai International Conference Center. It was organized by the Immunology Frontier Research Center (IFReC) in partnership with ImmunoSensation2 at the University of Bonn. Professor Lucy Walker from UCL served as a lecturer during the event.
Participation and Agenda
The program selected 53 participants out of 336 applicants from around the world, which included three researchers from Osaka University. The agenda featured lectures by 15 prominent immunologists, with each participant presenting their own research findings.
Impact and Feedback
Feedback highlighted the quality of the research shared and the networking opportunities available to emerging leaders in the field of immunology. This initiative is considered a significant contribution to the professional development of young researchers within the global immunology community.
