The conference was graced by distinguished personalities from the Philippine higher education sector, including the OIC of the Office of the Deputy Executive Director IV and Concurrent Chief of Staff to the CHED Chairperson, Dr. Ian Evangelista; Director IV of CHED’s Office of Institutional Quality Assurance and Governance, Dr. Lora L. Yusi; Chancellor of the University of Perpetual Help System JONELTA and PACUCOA Commissioner, Dr. Ferdinand C. Somido; and President of the Association of Local Colleges & Universities Commission on Accreditation (ALCUCOA) and the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies, Dr. Raymundo Arcega.

Co-hosted with AppliedHE through the leadership of CEO Mandy Mok and CTO Ruwan Chinthaka, the conference served as a platform for collaboration and meaningful discussions on strengthening higher education institutions in the region.

The workshop sessions were headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Joaquim Dias Soeiro, Deputy Dean for Internationalisation of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management of Sunway University, recognized as the top-ranked university in Asia by AppliedHE.

The successful hosting of the AppliedHE Xchange @ FCPC reflects the institution’s continued commitment to global engagement, academic excellence, and transformative partnerships that create opportunities for institutions, educators, and learners alike.
