5th National Cardiology Olympiad Celebrates Academic Achievement in Cardiovascular Medicine

The 5th National Cardiology Olympiad, designed to test fundamental medical knowledge, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills, has successfully concluded, bringing together top medical students from across Mongolia.
Organized to promote excellence in cardiovascular education, the competition featured participants from leading medical universities who demonstrated strong academic knowledge and clinical decision-making abilities in a highly competitive environment.
The top honors were awarded to the “Adenosine” team from the School of Medicine, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), comprising B. Esen, E. Khasjanjin, and B. Namuunaa. Second place was secured by the “Zenith” team from MNUMS, while third place went to the “Adrenaline Rush” team. Special recognition was also given to the “Brugada” team from Ach Medical University and the “Medseek” team from MNUMS for their outstanding performance.
Organizers expressed gratitude to the judging panel, participating students, and supporting institutions for their contributions to the event’s success. Sponsors included the National Cardiovascular Center of Mongolia, the Mongolian Society of Cardiology, Mago Pharm, Asia Pharm, and Monfa.
The Olympiad highlighted the growing standard of medical education in Mongolia and reinforced the importance of collaborative learning, clinical excellence, and academic competition in shaping future healthcare professionals.
