Chulalongkorn University Signs MoU with Sun Yat-sen University to Enhance International Academic Collaboration

Chulalongkorn University has established a partnership with Sun Yat-sen University by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on enhancing international academic collaboration. This agreement was finalized on February 26, 2026, during a meeting at the Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University in the People’s Republic of China.

Delegation from Chulalongkorn University

The delegation from Chulalongkorn University included Asst. Prof. Sarayut Supsook, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture; Asst. Prof. Dr. Saranya Siangarom, Vice Dean for International Affairs and Organizational Communication; and Asst. Prof. Sirintra Vanno, Assistant Dean. They were received by Prof. Huang Linchong, Associate Dean for Administration at Sun Yat-sen University, along with faculty members from the School of Civil Engineering.

Opportunities for Collaboration

Discussions during the meeting addressed various opportunities for collaboration in education and research, with a particular emphasis on student exchanges, joint research projects, and the organization of international academic events. Additionally, the Chulalongkorn team toured the facilities at the School of Civil Engineering to discuss advancements in engineering technology and innovation.

Anticipated Outcomes

This partnership is anticipated to contribute to improved educational opportunities and collaborative research efforts between the two institutions.
