The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) is celebrating the international recognition of Prof. Dr. Zartasha Mustansar from the NUST School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Science (SINES), who received the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 17th International Conference on Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering (ICAME 2026) in the United Kingdom.
Prof. Dr. Zartasha represented NUST at the international conference, where she presented research conducted by her MS student and was recognised for the quality and significance of the work. She also served as a Session Chair, contributing to the academic exchange and professional engagement at the conference.
Her participation further strengthened NUST’s research collaboration with Gebze Technical University in Türkiye. The engagement focused on advancing joint research in areas including biomechanics, human motion analysis, motion capture technologies and AI-enabled healthcare engineering.
The international visit also created opportunities for developing Erasmus partnerships, collaborative research initiatives and future international projects between the institutions. These engagements are expected to support knowledge exchange, strengthen research networks and create new opportunities for academics and students.
NUST said the achievement reflects its growing international research presence and commitment to promoting interdisciplinary research, innovation and global academic collaboration.
