Nanyang Business School Strengthens Industry Engagement with Leadership Forum and Asset Management Network

Nanyang Business School (NBS) strengthened its alumni and industry engagement efforts through a leadership dialogue event featuring distinguished alumna Chin Szu Yi, Head of Global Financial Institutions & Intermediaries at Eastspring Investments, alongside the official launch of the NBS Asset Management Alumni Network.
Held at the Singapore office of Eastspring Investments, the event brought together alumni and industry professionals for an evening focused on knowledge-sharing, leadership insights, and professional networking. The initiative reflects NBS’s ongoing commitment to fostering stronger alumni connections and supporting career development within the financial services sector.
A key highlight of the event was a leadership dialogue moderated by fellow alumnus Marcus Neo, where Chin Szu Yi shared reflections from her 30-year journey in the asset management industry. She discussed the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and relationship-building in navigating an evolving financial landscape. Emphasising leadership and mindset, she introduced the W.A.T.C.H. framework — Words, Actions, Thoughts, Character, and Heart — as a guide for professional and personal growth.
The event also marked the launch of the NBS Asset Management Alumni Network, a platform designed to connect alumni working across public and private markets, including hedge funds, private credit, and fund distribution. The network aims to encourage collaboration, mentorship, career guidance, and the exchange of industry insights among members.
By creating stronger professional communities and promoting peer learning, NBS continues to reinforce its role in preparing globally connected and future-ready business leaders.
