Parul University Launches India–New Zealand Centre of Excellence for Academic Collaboration

Parul University has inaugurated the India–New Zealand Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Vadodara, a development aimed at enhancing international academic collaboration. This initiative positions Parul University as the first Indian institution to establish a partnership with seven universities from New Zealand, with a focus on research collaboration, shared infrastructure, and cultural exchange.

Launch Event Details

The launch event coincided with International Week 2026 at Parul University and featured attendance from senior representatives of Education New Zealand (ENZ) and several notable New Zealand universities. The CoE is designed to foster long-term academic cooperation that extends beyond traditional student exchanges, concentrating on collaborative research, faculty development, and innovative projects that align with global educational priorities.

International Week 2026

International Week 2026, organized by the Centre for International Relations and Research at Parul University, brought together more than 70 senior academic leaders from various regions, including North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania. The event also marked the 11-year collaborative relationship between Parul University and Humber College in Canada, highlighted by the signing of a dual-degree articulation agreement.
