University of Cyberjaya Advances AI-Ready Higher Education Through Responsible AI

The Faculty of Health at the University of Cyberjaya continues to strengthen its commitment to digital transformation in higher education through a recent public lecture titled “AI Ready University: Responsible AI for Teaching, Careers and Workforce Transformation.”
The session featured Prof. Dr. Alamgir Hossain, Chief Executive Officer of D-Ready and a globally recognised expert in Agentic AI and Responsible AI. With over 30 years of experience in AI research and innovation, he shared key insights on how universities can develop AI-ready ecosystems, align academic programmes with industry needs, and equip graduates with the competencies required for an evolving AI-driven workforce.
The hybrid event was organised in collaboration with the Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences Association (ATAS), Taylor’s University, Asia e University, and the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS), with support from the Cyberjaya Education Group Berhad Talent Development Office. It attracted participants from multiple institutions, reflecting growing regional interest in responsible AI education and governance.
Discussions focused on integrating responsible AI into teaching and learning, strengthening AI literacy, and addressing challenges such as bias and AI-generated inaccuracies. The session also highlighted the role of AI in improving productivity, enhancing graduate employability, and reshaping future workforce readiness.
The initiative underscores the University of Cyberjaya’s commitment to building a sustainable, ethical, and future-ready AI education ecosystem that prepares students for success in technology-driven industries.
