UNIPMA Partners with Intact Taiwan to Expand International Scholarship Opportunities for Students and Alumni

Universitas PGRI Madiun (UNIPMA), through its Bureau of Cooperation and Public Relations (BKH), collaborated with International Talent Circulation Base (Intact) Taiwan to host a scholarship information session aimed at final-year students, prospective graduates, and alumni. Held at the university’s Integrated Laboratory, the event attracted around 80 participants eager to explore opportunities for further study and professional careers in Taiwan.
The session was attended by Vice Rector III Dr. Jeffry Handhika, Head of BKH Dr. Sri Lestari, university officials, representatives of the UNIPMA Alumni Association, and the Intact Taiwan delegation led by Andre So. The programme follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) established between UNIPMA and Intact Taiwan and celebrates the success of an Informatics Engineering alumnus who recently received an Intact Taiwan Scholarship.
During the session, Andre So explained that the programme offers more than academic scholarships. Participants receive full financial support covering tuition fees, living expenses, airfare, language training, health examinations, and a monthly allowance, followed by professional employment opportunities in Taiwan after graduation. While the programme primarily targets STEM disciplines, graduates from other fields are also eligible through the Professional Bachelor’s Programme.
The initiative demonstrates UNIPMA’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and expanding global education and career pathways for its students and graduates.
