Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Concludes Agentic AI Hackathon 2026 Successfully

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Coimbatore Campus successfully concluded the Agentic AI Hackathon 2026, a major innovation event that brought together students, industry experts, and technology enthusiasts to develop AI-driven solutions for real-world challenges.
Organised by the Atal Incubation Center Amrita Center for Entrepreneurship (AICACE) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in collaboration with WeKan Enterprises, NitroStack, and MCP to the Moon, the 24-hour hackathon focused on exploring the potential of Agentic AI technologies across multiple domains.
The event attracted more than 350 registered teams, with over 220 teams participating and 177 teams submitting final projects across six thematic tracks, including BFSI & FinTech, Education & Research, Enterprise AI, HealthTech, Manufacturing, and Open Innovation. Participants demonstrated creativity, technical expertise, and problem-solving abilities while developing innovative solutions using emerging AI technologies.
The hackathon featured keynote sessions and technical workshops led by academic leaders and industry experts, highlighting the importance of AI innovation, entrepreneurship, and stronger academia-industry collaboration.
Projects were assessed by panels of academic and industry judges based on innovation, implementation, scalability, impact, and overall quality. The winning teams received prizes, NitroStack credits, and opportunities for further development through incubation support from AICACE.
