Chula Economists Participate in 2025 University Education and Enterprise Competitiveness Forum at NCKU, Taiwan

Representatives from Chulalongkorn University attended the 2025 University Education and Enterprise Competitiveness Forum, held at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) in Tainan, Taiwan, on September 11, 2025. The delegation included Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kriengkrai Boonlert-U-Thai and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nopphol Witvorapong.

Keynote Addresses

During the forum, Dr. Kriengkrai delivered a keynote address titled “University-Industry Collaboration in Thailand.” Dr. Nopphol presented insights on “Enterprise Competitiveness of Thai MSMEs.” The event featured speakers from various ASEAN countries, including Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Cambodia, and Vietnam, alongside prominent academics from NCKU.

Forum Objectives and Outcomes

The forum emphasized the importance of tackling issues related to education and enterprise competitiveness in the region. Additionally, it reinforced the academic partnership between Chulalongkorn University and NCKU, supported by an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). A key outcome of the forum will be a joint publication in the *Asia Pacific Management Review* (Scopus Q1), with contributions from scholars affiliated with both institutions.
