Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng’s Meeting with Tsinghua University Economic Advisors

On October 16, 2025, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng convened with members of the advisory board for the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM) at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing. As a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, He highlighted China’s intention to strengthen the establishment of a unified national market and promote high-standard openings to foster stable economic growth.

During the meeting, He emphasized China’s interest in fostering mutually beneficial cooperation with countries globally, aiming to share opportunities for high-quality development and achieve mutual gains. Established in October 2000, the advisory board of Tsinghua SEM consists of global business leaders, deans of business schools, and distinguished scholars. Its objective is to elevate Tsinghua SEM’s status as a leading institution in economics and management by enhancing its teaching and research capacities.
