Northwestern University in Qatar Celebrates Class of 2026 at 15th Graduation Ceremony, Honouring Global Diversity, Academic Excellence, and Resilient Future Leaders
Northwestern University in Qatar marked a significant milestone as it celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2026 during its 15th annual commencement ceremony held in Doha. The event brought together university leadership, faculty, families, and distinguished guests to honour 123 graduates representing 22 nationalities, reflecting the institution’s global outlook and inclusive academic community. Graduates specialised in communication and journalism, with many pursuing interdisciplinary studies in areas such as artificial intelligence, media, and Middle East studies, demonstrating the university’s commitment to forward-looking education. In his address, Dean and CEO Marwan M. Kraidy highlighted the concept of resilience with purpose, encouraging graduates to navigate an evolving world with integrity and responsibility. The ceremony recognised academic excellence, with several students receiving scholastic honours, and underscored the power of storytelling in shaping perspectives, reinforcing the role of graduates as thoughtful communicators and global citizens.
