APSCO Secretary-General JIANG Hui’s Visit to Zhejiang University Strengthens Academic Ties

On September 10, a delegation from the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO), led by Secretary-General JIANG Hui, visited Zhejiang University to enhance academic and research collaborations. The delegation was welcomed by FU Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang University Council, along with representatives from various university departments, including the Office of Global Engagement, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the International College, and the Institute for Advanced Technology.
Meeting Highlights
During the meeting, FU Qiang outlined the advancements made by Zhejiang University in disciplinary development and global partnerships. He reaffirmed the shared commitment between the university and APSCO to promote sustainable and inclusive development. Since establishing their partnership in 2023, collaboration has increased in areas such as scientific research, innovation, and talent cultivation. FU Qiang expressed a desire to deepen ties with APSCO, aiming for high-quality outcomes in the aeronautics and astronautics sectors. He also encouraged distinguished students from APSCO member states to consider pursuing studies at Zhejiang University.

Secretary-General JIANG Hui acknowledged the achievements of Zhejiang University and shared insights into APSCO’s strategic priorities. She highlighted APSCO’s successful collaborations with academic institutions and its extensive expertise in education and training. JIANG Hui expressed optimism that the visit could lead to new collaborative initiatives and emphasized the potential of APSCO’s multilateral platform to advance the aeronautics and astronautics sector throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
