Young Scientists and Engineers Showcase Global Achievements

The Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has celebrated the achievements of its latest graduates, highlighting their success as emerging scientists, engineers, and technology innovators with international recognition.

The graduation ceremony featured a special message from Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who emphasized the important role of young professionals in advancing national development, technological progress, and innovation. The faculty’s graduates have already demonstrated their capabilities in fields including artificial intelligence, robotics, space technology, and fundamental sciences.

Among the outstanding graduates, robotics student Nalibek Ramazan achieved first place at Alem Tech Fest 2026 and Future Engineers for SCO countries, while also receiving recognition for developing a leading startup at the FICS-2025 international pitching event in Azerbaijan. Other graduates gained international attention through innovative projects, research competitions, and technology programmes.

Young researchers from the faculty have also contributed to global scientific advancement. Students in Computational Science and Statistics published research in high-ranking Scopus Q1 journals, while mathematics graduates earned recognition through publications indexed in Web of Science and Scopus databases.

The achievements of these graduates reflect the faculty’s commitment to developing future-ready specialists equipped with advanced knowledge, research skills, and innovative thinking. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University continues to strengthen its role in preparing young scientists and engineers who contribute to global science, technology, and economic development.
