XMUM Students Achieve National Third Prize in China’s University Business Elite Challenge 2025

A group of undergraduate students from Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) has earned the National Third Prize in the China University Business Elite Challenge 2025. The students include Chen Jiayi, who studies Advertising; Hou Bowen, majoring in Data Science; and Ouyang Xiaoxuan, specializing in International Business. Their involvement was facilitated by Assistant Professor Sang Kun from the School of Communication.
About the China University Business Elite Challenge
The China University Business Elite Challenge is organized by the Commercial Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, in collaboration with various commercial associations and public institutions. Established in 2013, the competition aims to nurture innovation and entrepreneurial skills among university students.
Competition Overview
Participants engage in simulations covering processes such as cash acquisition, market analysis, human resource management, and product management. This initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry, allowing student startup teams to enhance their projects.
