Professor Huang Zuohua Recognized as Fellow of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines

Professor Huang Zuohua from the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University has been named a Fellow of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines. This recognition was announced during the 9th session of the 8th Executive Council meeting of the society.

Significance of the Fellow Designation

The Fellow designation is considered the highest honor within the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines. It aims to recognize and encourage members who have made significant contributions to the field and the organization. The selection process for this inaugural group of Fellows involved recommendations from industry professionals and organizations, as well as professional evaluations and final approvals.

Professor Huang’s Accomplishments

Huang holds a PhD and serves as a doctoral advisor. He is also a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund. Notably, Huang is recognized for being the first Chinese scholar to serve as editor-in-chief of the international journal *Fuel*, which has a history spanning over a century. He holds additional roles as a fellow and director of the International Combustion Institute and as a director of the International Internal Combustion Engine Association.

Future Contributions

Throughout his career, Huang has garnered multiple national and international honors and has been invited to deliver a keynote lecture at the 2024 International Combustion Academic Conference.
