Thammasat Hackathon X Pathumthani case competition provides students the opportunity to develop innovative leadership skills
Thammasat University by the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Academic Affairs, in collaboration with Pathum Thani Province and the network of entrepreneurs organized the ‘Thammasat Hackathon X Pathumthani Case Competition’ to allow students to develop innovation and entrepreneurial skills by presenting ideas to help solve real problems within Pathum Thani Province, both in terms of economy, society and environment. It also provides students the opportunity to learn and exchange knowledge through the perspectives and real experiences of entrepreneurs who have knowledge and expertise in the business field.
Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector of Thammasat University, said that organizing the ‘Thammasat Hackaton X Pathumthani Case Competition’ is a good opportunity for students to practice their entrepreneurial and managerial skills in the future. This activity fosters the exchange of knowledge and advice receiving from experts and experienced in the business field. This will help encourage students to develop the qualities of being a good entrepreneur and be able to succeed in the future.
For the results of this competition, there are a total of 7 teams that have received awards including:
- The 1st Award Winner received a cash prize of 30,000 Thai baht and a certificate, including the ‘Planter Case’ team, progressive group of the magic block planter.
- The 1st Runner-up Award Winner received a cash prize of 25,000 Thai baht and a certificate, including the ‘Playing with Banana Case’ team, Pathum Rat Golden Banana.
- The 2nd Runner-up Award Winner received a cash prize of 25,000 Thai baht and a certificate, including the ‘I Had a Hard Time Too Case’ team, progressive group of the magic block planter, and the ‘Health Promoting Center Program Case’ team, Sub-District Health Promotion Hospital, the roles of locals in building health coverage for Thai people.
- Honorable Mention Award Winner received a cash prize of 5,000 Thai baht and a certificate, including the ‘Bored of the Chilli Paste, Craved for the Saline Case’ team, Sub-District Health Promotion Hospital, the roles of locals in building health coverage for Thai people, and the ‘PFR, Little farmer Case’ team, opportunities and choices of Thai rice varieties…Pathum Thani Fragrant Rice, and the ‘Chicka Chick Case’ team, Sam Khok District is not just a passage way.
