Center for Educational and Psychological Research Explores Collaboration with Family Guidance Center of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine

The Center for Educational and Psychological Research welcomed a delegation from the Family Guidance Center of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein to discuss opportunities for collaboration in promoting community engagement, humanitarian values, and family well-being.

The visit was led by the Family Guidance Center’s Director, Professor Hujjah Hanaa Al-Taie, who delivered an introductory lecture outlining the center’s mission, awareness campaigns, and counseling programmes designed to strengthen families and support the wider community. The session highlighted the importance of educational outreach in addressing social challenges and fostering a culture of compassion and responsibility.

Director of the Center for Educational and Psychological Research, Dr. Fadel Al-Saadi, emphasized the value of collaborative awareness initiatives in nurturing humanitarian principles among students and university staff. He praised the Family Guidance Center’s contributions to family stability and community development, noting that partnerships between academic institutions and community organisations play a vital role in creating positive social impact.

The visit concluded with a communal breakfast celebrating the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima Al-Ma’souma, creating an atmosphere of fellowship and cultural appreciation among participants.

The initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community partnerships and advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 17, which promotes collaboration for sustainable development.
