Collaboration Between National University of Singapore and Rennes 2 University Officially Materialised

Naresuan University recently strengthened its international academic engagement through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rennes 2 University during the “2026 Thailand-France International Collaboration: Franco-Thai Symposium on Higher Education, Research and Innovation” held in Bangkok.
The agreement was signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University, together with university representatives including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usa Padgate, Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Onusa Suwanpratest, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities. Representing Rennes 2 University was Vice President Dr. Valeria Pansini, acting on behalf of the university’s president.
The signing ceremony took place on 14 May 2026 at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok and was witnessed by distinguished guests including Jean-Claude Poimbœuf and Yodchanan Wongsawat.
The collaboration reflects both institutions’ commitment to advancing academic cooperation, research partnerships, and cultural exchange between Thailand and France. Following the ceremony, delegates from Naresuan University were also invited by the French Embassy in Thailand to attend a cocktail reception hosted at the French Ambassador’s residence in Bangkok.
