The University of Hong Kong Expands International Academic Cooperation Through New Strategic Partnerships and Collaborative Initiatives

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University continues to strengthen its international engagement through expanding cooperation with Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During an official meeting, Chairman of the Board and Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev welcomed Jeffrey Sheng, Vice President of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, to discuss new opportunities for collaboration in higher education and scientific research.
The discussions focused on developing mutually beneficial partnerships through joint educational programs, academic exchanges, and collaborative research initiatives. Rector Tuimebayev highlighted the strategic importance of international cooperation in enhancing educational quality, innovation, and global academic competitiveness.
“Our university consistently prioritizes the expansion of international partnerships. The collaboration established with Hong Kong Polytechnic University is highly valuable for both institutions. We are interested in implementing joint academic programs and further improving scientific research activities,” Tuimebayev stated during the meeting.
Vice President Jeffrey Sheng expressed strong interest in strengthening ties with Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and confirmed Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s readiness to support future collaborative projects.
