Beijing Normal University has initiated the new academic semester with the arrival of its 2025 cohort of international students. Students hailing from various countries have come to campus to begin their educational endeavors, contributing to the institution’s diverse academic environment.
Orientation Check-in
Orientation check-in for the new international students commenced on September 14th, featuring assistance from volunteers affiliated with the International Students Office. These volunteers aided students with several procedures, including insurance registration and enrollment.
Support for International Students
To support the transition of international students, volunteers were present at locations such as the airport, the university’s East Gate, and numerous international student dormitories. Their role was to guide students through the check-in process and help them acclimate to the new surroundings.
Comprehensive Orientation Session
In order to promote integration into campus life, the university organized a comprehensive orientation session that included legal education provided by immigration officers and specialized presentations from the Academic Affairs Department and the International Students Office. Topics addressed during the session included course selection, available scholarships, and general advice for living on campus, with opportunities for students to pose questions and express concerns.
