MSU System President Tago Enhances Academic and Cultural Relations with Türkiye

The President of the Mindanao State University (MSU) System, Atty. Paisalin P.D. Tago, recently led a delegation in a meeting with H.E. Niyazi Evren Akyol, the Turkish Ambassador to the Philippines, and Deputy Chief of Mission Okan Erkan.
Strengthening Collaboration
The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration between Mindanao State University and the Republic of Türkiye. Key topics of discussion included enhancing academic connections, fostering cultural understanding, and identifying opportunities for joint research initiatives and student exchange programs.

Accompanying President Tago were Sittie Norhaya Ambor-Tago, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Minerva-Saminah M. Naga, Executive Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO) Dr. Renato S. Pacaldo, Director of the Manila Information Office (MIO) Hannah G. Marquez, and MIO Supervising Administrative Officer Engr. Raymer Marl S. Tan.
Presentation of Token
At the end of the visit, President Tago presented Ambassador Akyol with a handcrafted token from the university, which represented MSU’s appreciation and commitment to maintaining a strong friendship with Türkiye.
