Thammasat Science Faculty & KGI Partner for Algorithmic Trading Student Support

The Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for academic collaboration with KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, Rangsit Center, to support education and develop the potential of students in the field of Algorithmic Trading.

Associate Professor Dr. Supet Jirakajohnkool, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology at Thammasat University, stated the significance of this collaboration as an important step in bridging the education sector and the business sector, leading to the development of students with knowledge and skills that can be practically applied in the global financial market.

This collaboration includes the KGI ALGO TRADING BOOTCAMP #2024, which provides students with the opportunity to learn through practical workshops and competitions focused on developing algorithmic investment strategies. Additionally, there are scholarships available for outstanding students to support their learning and create future opportunities.

Ms. Nantarat Surakkhaka, Deputy Managing Director of the Support Department of the Executive Board at KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited, stated KGI is ready to continuously support learning in Algorithmic Trading, enabling students to develop investment skills with advanced technology. KGI also welcomes suggestions to enhance the project in the future and aims to cultivate a new generation of investors who are prepared to step into the digital world. This collaboration reflects a commitment to the development of knowledge in the fields of science, technology, and investment, which will benefit students, faculty, and the financial industry in the future.
