New Museum at Beijing Normal University to Highlight Art Education History
A new museum focused on the history of art education is planned for construction at Beijing Normal University (BNU) in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, with an expected completion date by the end of the year. The museum is intended to examine the development of art education at the basic education level, which encompasses preschool, primary, and secondary education since the early 20th century.
Exhibits and Educational Materials
The museum will display a variety of educational materials that have been used by educators and students in both urban and rural environments. It will be operated by BNU’s School of Future Design and is designed to act as a resource for the education sector.
Collaboration and Innovation
The institution plans to facilitate collaborations with international organizations to foster the introduction of innovative concepts aimed at advancing current reforms in basic art education in China.
