AIIB Vice President Ajay Bhushan Pandey Visits Guanghua School of Management for Academic Exchange

A delegation from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank led by Vice President Ajay Bhushan Pandey visited Peking University Guanghua School of Management on May 22 to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions in academic exchange, research, and global development initiatives.

The delegation was welcomed by university leaders, including Vice Chair of the Peking University Council Jiang Guohua, Guanghua Dean Tian Xuan, and Associate Deans Shen Qiaowei and Ma Zhiming. Discussions focused on expanding long-term collaboration in areas such as finance, technology, public policy, and sustainable development.

During the meeting, Tian Xuan highlighted Guanghua’s recent academic and research achievements, emphasizing the school’s growing focus on the integration of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies into business education and policy research. He also discussed opportunities for enhanced faculty and student exchange programs, joint research projects, and stronger engagement between academia and industry practitioners.

Pandey shared updates on AIIB’s strategic priorities and stressed the importance of partnerships with leading universities to address global infrastructure and sustainability challenges. He praised Guanghua’s innovative academic approach and expressed interest in practical collaboration to support future-oriented solutions.

The visit reinforced the shared commitment of both institutions to combining academic excellence and international development expertise to create meaningful global impact.
