Tsinghua Hosts Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić for Academic Exchange

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić visited Tsinghua University during his state visit to China and delivered a speech as part of the university’s Global Vision Lecture Series. The event highlighted the growing partnership between China and Serbia, as well as the importance of international cooperation in a rapidly changing world.

Tsinghua University President Li Luming welcomed President Vučić and emphasized the strong friendship between the two countries. He noted that educational institutions play an important role in promoting cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and collaboration among young people.

In his address, President Vučić spoke about Serbia-China relations, global political developments, and Serbia’s recent economic and political progress. He praised China’s rapid development and described the country as an important force for global peace and stability. Vučić also encouraged students to embrace innovation, maintain an open mindset, and contribute positively to society and future global development.

The event also featured interactive discussions between President Vučić and students on topics including international cooperation, youth engagement, and the skills needed to address future global challenges.

Around 200 participants attended the lecture, including members of the Serbian delegation, embassy officials, government representatives, and Tsinghua faculty and students, further strengthening educational and people-to-people ties between China and Serbia.
