MMU Partners with UiPath to Advance RPA Education and Digital Talent Development
Multimedia University (MMU) has formalised a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UiPath to strengthen collaboration in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) education, digital skills development, and industry engagement. The agreement, signed at MMU’s Cyberjaya campus on 10 July 2026, reinforces the university’s commitment to preparing graduates for the evolving demands of Industry 4.0.
Supported by Telekom Malaysia Group Information Technology & Digital (TM GITD) through the MMU Academic Alliance initiative, the partnership combines academic learning with enterprise automation expertise. TM GITD contributes RPA learning materials, curriculum support, and practical industry experience, helping bridge the gap between higher education and workplace requirements.
Under the collaboration, UiPath will provide students and educators with access to RPA learning resources, certification pathways, and industry-aligned training. The initiative also promotes curriculum enhancement by integrating globally recognised automation competencies while offering students practical exposure to automation technologies and workflows.
Beyond academic programmes, MMU and UiPath will jointly organise hackathons, competitions, workshops, and other experiential learning activities to encourage innovation and problem-solving. The partnership also creates opportunities for internships, graduate recruitment, and career development through UiPath and its industry network.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment by MMU, UiPath, and TM GITD to advance digital transformation, strengthen automation education, and develop highly skilled graduates equipped for the future digital workforce.
