Graduation Dinner 2026 Celebrates Achievement and Alumni Engagement

The Chinese Students and Scholars Association of City University of Hong Kong recently hosted the “2026 Graduation Dinner,” bringing together graduating students, university leaders, faculty members, and alumni to celebrate the completion of their academic journey and strengthen long-term alumni connections.

The event was attended by around 200 graduates and guests from various disciplines, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. Organizers extended congratulations to the graduating cohort while emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong ties with the university community.

In his address, Council Chairman Professor the Honourable Michael Ngai congratulated students on their achievements and thanked faculty, families, and friends for their support. He highlighted CityUHK’s global recognition, including being named the “Most International University in the World” by THE for three consecutive years and ranking among the world’s top 100 universities in major global rankings.

He encouraged graduates to remain curious, innovative, and committed to lifelong learning, while contributing to society and aligning personal growth with broader national development goals. He also reminded them that graduation marks not an end, but the beginning of a lifelong relationship with the university.

Acting President Professor Lee Chun-sing also sent a video message, urging graduates to face future challenges with confidence and resilience. The evening featured performances, souvenirs, and interactive photo spots, adding to the celebratory spirit.
