SDU Extension Center Successfully Completes “Fundamentals of Endowment and Fundraising” Program to Strengthen Professional Development in Philanthropy
SDU Extension Center successfully concluded its professional development program titled “Fundamentals of Endowment and Fundraising,” bringing together participants from across Kazakhstan to strengthen expertise in sustainable educational financing and institutional development.
The program served as a collaborative platform for professional dialogue, knowledge exchange, and networking among 29 participants representing academic, managerial, and educational sectors from various cities nationwide. Throughout the training, participants explored essential topics including endowment management, strategic fundraising practices, and sustainable growth strategies for educational institutions.
The final day featured several key events emphasizing partnership development and practical collaboration. Representatives from the Aurora Ala Corporate Foundation met with SDU University leadership to review the outcomes of their joint initiatives and discuss future cooperation opportunities. During the event, both organizations also signed a memorandum of cooperation covering education, science, and innovation.
Participants additionally attended a campus tour and a formal closing ceremony where certificates were presented. The program concluded with a networking session that connected graduates, guest speakers, and institutional partners.
Implemented through the joint efforts of SDU Extension Center and the Aurora Ala Corporate Foundation, the initiative reinforces SDU University’s commitment to practice-oriented education, strategic partnerships, and professional capacity building in the higher education sector.
