Tashkent SCO Festival Highlights Outstanding Achievements of AIU Students

Students from Ala-Too International University proudly represented Kyrgyzstan at the international “100 Future Innovators of the SCO” festival held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The event gathered talented young innovators, researchers, and technology developers from member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), showcasing groundbreaking projects across multiple disciplines.

AIU students delivered an impressive performance among more than 100 competing projects. Elkhan Karypov and Iskender Zholdubaev secured second place in the Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity Hackathon, demonstrating strong technical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills. In another achievement, Iskender Zholdubaev and Nazimai Kadyrbekova earned third place in the Drone Football Innovation Competition.

Beyond the competitions, students also introduced two promising agricultural technology startups. BioNitro, developed by Elkhan Karypov, focuses on the artificial evolution of microorganisms to improve agricultural productivity and enhance global food security. Meanwhile, AgriVision, created by Nazimai Kadyrbekova, features an advanced agricultural drone capable of monitoring crop conditions and diagnosing plant health in real time.

The projects attracted significant attention from representatives of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and Ministry of Agriculture, highlighting the growing international impact of AIU’s student-led innovations and research excellence.
