KLUST Delegation Tours Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak: A Focus on Academic Collaboration

A delegation from the Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology (KLUST) visited Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak on January 9. The delegation was led by Professor Chen Xiaoyun, Chairman of KLUST, and included Professor Dr. David Ngo Chek Ling, President and Vice-Chancellor, as well as Ms. Wong Yee Kuai, Chief Operating Officer.

During this visit, discussions took place between the KLUST delegation and officials from Swinburne University, including Professor Ida Fatimawati Adi Badiozaman, Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research), Associate Professor Dr. Hudyjaya Siswoyo Jo, Director of the Centre for Digital Futures, and Ir Associate Professor Viknesh Andiappan, Associate Director of the School of Research.

The discussions primarily centered on possible academic collaborations, student exchange programs, and leveraging the knowledge gained from Swinburne’s Australian offshore campus in Malaysia. A focus was placed on enhancing teaching, research, and innovation initiatives for both institutions.
