Top Scorer at Tra Vinh University: Student Achieves Remarkable Success in Entrance Exam
Tran Quoc Cuong, a recent high school graduate, has achieved the distinction of being the top scorer at Tra Vinh University (TVU), securing a score of 27.75 on the national university entrance exam.
Exam Results
Cuong’s exam results included scores of 9.75 in Geography, 9.25 in Literature, and 8.75 in History. Despite having carefully reviewed his answers before the official results were announced, Cuong reported feeling surprised by his performance.
Attribution of Success
In reflecting on his success, Cuong attributed his achievement to a strong commitment to his studies, which included a combination of traditional study methods, such as viewing historical documentaries and staying informed about current events. He noted that these strategies were particularly beneficial for his Literature exam. He described the exam experience as challenging, highlighting that Geography, his strongest subject, required thorough analysis. His preparation involved consistent practice with past exam papers in both History and Geography.
Support from Family and Teachers
Cuong, originally from a rural area in Chau Thanh district of Vinh Long province, acknowledged that his accomplishment was supported by his family, including his father, who works as a laborer, and his mother, who runs a small shop. He recognized the motivating influence of his teachers at Vu Dinh Lieu High School, who encouraged him to aim for greater achievements, as well as the valuable assistance from online learning resources.
Athletic Achievements
In addition to his academic accomplishments, Cuong has showcased his athletic abilities, winning a bronze medal in men’s volleyball at the 29th Tra Vinh Province Workers’ Sports Festival. He plans to pursue a degree in Sports Management at Tra Vinh University.
