Global Village New Year Party 2025: Highlights and Experiences at Tsukuba University
The Global Village New Year Party 2025 took place at Daiwa Lease Community Station in Global Village on January 8, attracting close to 100 participants from the community and the Short-Stay House. This event, co-hosted by the University of Tsukuba and DAIWA LEASE CO.LTD, has been organized five times since its inception in 2018, with interruptions during the years 2021 to 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event featured a variety of activities, including a traditional taiko performance by the student group “Tokimeki Taiko Juku,” mochi pounding, and various games.
