Prince of Songkla University (PSU) has signed a strategic academic cooperation agreement with the Department of Local Administration to enhance curriculum quality, training programmes, and academic seminars aimed at strengthening the knowledge, skills, and competencies of local government personnel. The collaboration is designed to support the professional development of staff within local administrative organizations and the Department of Local Administration, enabling them to meet the evolving demands of modern public administration. Under this agreement, PSU’s Faculty of Management Sciences will work closely with the Local Personnel Development Institute to coordinate academic activities and structured capacity-building initiatives. The partnership reflects PSU’s commitment to advancing public sector human capital development by integrating academic expertise, research, and management knowledge with practical governance needs. By fostering stronger collaboration between higher education and local government institutions, the initiative aims to improve administrative efficiency, enhance service delivery, and generate long-term benefits for communities across Thailand.
