Where Ideas Meet Impact: Showcasing Research Excellence at the Business Research Project Colloquium 2026

The Faculty of Business, Accountancy and Law held its Business Research Project Colloquium on 3 April 2026, showcasing the academic excellence and research capabilities of final-year students. Organised by Dr. William Tan Wei Yet and Dr. Sudhashini Nair, the event highlighted months of rigorous research, critical analysis, and applied problem-solving.

Students presented studies addressing real-world business challenges, demonstrating strong methodological skills, data-driven insights, and practical recommendations aligned with current industry needs. The diversity of topics reflected awareness of emerging market trends and contemporary business issues.

Associate Professor Dr. Irene Tan, Dean of the Faculty and Graduate School of Business, presented awards recognising outstanding achievements. Honours included Best Research Paper, Impact Award, Sustainability Award, and Best Presenter categories, celebrating excellence in research and communication.

Beyond awards, the colloquium strengthened students’ confidence, analytical thinking, and academic voice, reinforcing the role of research as a foundation for developing future business leaders.
