VNU School of Business Valedictorian Highlights a Transformative University Experience

Nguyen Minh Ngoc, the 2026 valedictorian in Human Resource and Talent Management at the School of Business (HSB), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU), has demonstrated how academic excellence and practical experience can pave the way for career success. Graduating with a GPA of 3.76/4.0 and earning five merit scholarships, she quickly secured a position in the Human Resources and Administration department at Japanese manufacturer Chiyoda Integre.
Reflecting on her transition from university to the workplace, Minh Ngoc credited HSB’s practice-oriented curriculum for equipping her with both technical knowledge and essential workplace skills. Courses in labor law, recruitment, talent management, and organizational development, combined with project-based learning, helped prepare her for real-world challenges in a highly disciplined corporate environment.
Beyond academics, she actively participated in community service, student organizations, and internships from her second year, gaining valuable experience in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. These opportunities strengthened her confidence and adaptability as she entered the workforce.
Minh Ngoc believes that success depends not only on academic achievement but also on a willingness to embrace new experiences, ask questions, and continue learning. Her journey reflects HSB’s commitment to producing graduates who are prepared for both domestic and international careers through practical education, industry engagement, and personal development.
