NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Visits Seoul National University to Inspire Future AI Innovators

NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang visited Seoul National University (SNU) on 8 June, engaging with students at the “Build-a-Claw @ SNU” event focused on artificial intelligence (AI) agents and emerging technologies. During a 25-minute talk at the Haedong Advanced Engineering Building, Huang shared insights on the transformative potential of AI and encouraged students to pursue innovation in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
The event attracted strong interest from the SNU community, with all 1,000 available places filled within three hours of registration opening. Huang highlighted AI’s growing impact across industries and society, encouraging students to use their creativity and technical skills to develop future solutions. He also praised Korea’s strengths in electronics, cloud technology, manufacturing, engineering, and AI, describing the country as a strong environment for technological advancement.
Following the session, Huang met with SNU President Ryu Honglim and participated in a campus exchange, receiving an SNU varsity jacket and commemorative gifts. The visit further strengthened connections between NVIDIA and the university’s AI-focused community.
Organised by NVIDIA and the Korean developer community, “Build-a-Claw @ SNU” provided students, developers, and engineers with hands-on experience in building autonomous AI agents using NVIDIA’s open-source framework. The programme also offered opportunities for discussions on AI applications, career pathways, and future collaboration.
