MMU and TESDEC Forge Strategic Partnership in TVET and Digital Innovation

Multimedia University (MMU) and TESDEC have formalised a strategic collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at MMU’s Cyberjaya campus. The agreement was signed by MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud and TESDEC Chief Operating Officer, Tuan Nik Fahmi Nik Nordin. Also present at the ceremony was YB Tuan Haji Sulaiman Sulong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TESDEC, along with officers from the organisation.
The partnership reflects both institutions’ commitment to advancing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), digital technology, academic development, and industry-focused talent empowerment initiatives. Through this collaboration, MMU and TESDEC aim to support the nation’s agenda of developing highly skilled and future-ready graduates capable of meeting the evolving demands of the digital economy.
Under the MoU, both parties will explore opportunities in applied research, innovation, industrial training, technology transfer, and professional development programmes. The collaboration is also expected to strengthen academia-industry linkages through joint initiatives, curriculum enhancement, and knowledge-sharing activities, ultimately contributing towards workforce development and national socio-economic growth.
