AKSI 2026 Strengthens Students’ Financial Knowledge and Awareness

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia through its Faculty of Economics and Management (FEP) continues to strengthen student financial literacy through the Arena Kewangan Siswa Intervarsiti (AKSI) AKPK 2026 programme, recently held with strong participation from multiple institutions.
The programme was jointly organised by the Tunas AKPK Club and the Management Club under the Faculty of Economics and Management Students’ Association (PMFEP), with strategic support from industry partners and invited universities. AKSI 2026 featured a series of engaging activities designed to expose students to financial management, financial technology, and interactive learning approaches that align with current digital trends.
According to FEP lecturer Dr. Masrina Nadia Mohd Salleh, who established the Tunas AKPK Club under the Faculty’s Student Affairs and Alumni (HEPA) unit, the initiative aims to enhance youth financial literacy through behavioural and technology-driven learning methods. Strategic partners such as VESPID and UnBound played a key role in delivering gamified platforms that increased student engagement in financial education.
The highlight of the programme was the official launch of the Tunas AKPK FEP UKM Club by Dean Prof. Dr. Mohd Azlan Shah Zaidi, marking a significant step in empowering students as financial literacy ambassadors on campus.
The event also featured an intervarsity Financial Debate Competition involving institutions including UTAR, UiTM, UPSI, USM, and INTI, with INTI International College Subang emerging as champion.
