Guest Lecture on Globalisation and Non-Traditional Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence at Universitas Wijaya Putra

On October 31, 2025, Universitas Wijaya Putra (UWP) and Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNISZA) held a guest lecture titled “Globalisation and Non-Traditional Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The event took place at the Dome of the Faculty of Economics and Business on UWP’s Benowo campus and was also streamed live via YouTube.

Focus of the Lecture

The lecture featured experts from UNISZA who focused on the challenges and opportunities associated with artificial intelligence technology as it pertains to non-traditional security—a topic of increasing importance amidst globalisation.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sri Juni Woro, Vice Rector 1 of UWP, emphasized the significance of this collaboration in enhancing academic ties and deepening students’ understanding of complex global issues. He highlighted the role of such partnerships in fostering knowledge about security dynamics in the digital age.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suyatno Ladiqi from UNISZA acknowledged the importance of the collaboration and expressed a desire for future joint efforts that would enhance international academic networking.
