Chung-Ang University Forms Partnership with Korea Association of Robot Industry for Advanced Robotics and Battery Development

Chung-Ang University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Association of Robot Industry to advance research and development in the fields of robotics and secondary battery technology. This agreement is intended to enhance cooperative efforts within these industries and create a framework for collaboration.

The signing ceremony included notable attendees such as Seong Maeng-je, Executive Vice President for Research at Chung-Ang University, and Baek Kwang-hyun, Dean of the College of ICT Engineering. Representatives from the Korea Association of Robot Industry, including Park Cheol-wan, Executive Vice President, and Lee Kyung-jun, Head of the Industry Division, also participated in the event. During the meeting, participants outlined medium- to long-term goals and strategies for collaboration.

The partnership will feature joint projects targeting the electrical, electronics, and battery sectors. Key efforts will focus on formulating national policies to support advanced robotics, particularly in areas such as intelligent mobility and battery innovation. Plans include launching large-scale research initiatives and developing specialized training programs for personnel.
