On February 20, 2026, Professor Letlhokwa Mpedi, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Johannesburg, addressed the university community regarding the commencement of the academic term. Introduction of Smart Classrooms
Professor Mpedi announced the introduction of Smart Classrooms on campus as part of the university’s Strategic Plan 2035. Additionally, he expressed appreciation to Dr. Mpoti Ralephata for leading the Smart Classrooms initiative, highlighting the university’s commitment to integrating technology into the educational experience.
