VNU University Vietnam -The University of Social Sciences and Humanities signed a cooperation agreement with leading universities in Russia

From April 15 to April 20, 2024, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU) and several University officials attended the working session with the Delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam in the Russian Federation.

To promote the educational cooperation relationship between the two countries Vietnam – Russian Federation to new heights worthy of the potential and needs of both sides, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son and the Degelation Group of the Ministry of Education and Training Vietnam is on a working trip to the Russian Federation from April 15th to April 20th, 2024.

Within the framework of the business trip, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son and the delegation group had a working session with Mr. Konstantin Mogilevsky, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and visited several higher education institutions in the Russian Federation and attended the Second Forum of Rectors of Vietnam – Russian Federation Universities.

The year 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of both sides signing the Treaty on the basic principles of friendly relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation (1994-2024). Russia and Vietnam have bilateral cooperation in various fields, in which education and training are priority areas of cooperation. Currently, between Vietnamese and Russian universities there are more than 100 cooperation agreements. The two countries’ higher education institutions have implemented many cooperative research activities, academic exchanges, and coordinated organization of conferences, seminars, and student and lecturer exchanges. The industries with a lot of cooperation are all strong industries of the Russian Federation that Vietnam is interested in.
