MMU Welcomes New Students with a Week of Immersion and Networking
Multimedia University (MMU) welcomed its newest cohort of students following their registration on 8 August 2026 at its Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses, marking the beginning of their university journey.
The new students took part in the week-long Immersion and Networking (WIN) programme, designed to help them adapt to campus life, explore their new surroundings and build connections within the MMU community.
As part of the programme, MMU President Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud met with students during an Up and Close Personal session at the Melaka campus, while students in Cyberjaya participated virtually. The session provided an opportunity for students to hear directly from the university’s leadership as they embarked on their studies.
Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham welcomed the students and encouraged them to embrace new experiences, make the most of the opportunities available at MMU and develop meaningful relationships throughout their university years.
The WIN programme featured orientation activities, networking sessions and student engagement initiatives aimed at familiarising newcomers with academic life, campus facilities and the wider university community.
Beyond orientation, the programme provided a platform for students to meet their peers, establish friendships and gain confidence in their new environment, setting a positive foundation for their academic and personal development at MMU.
