University of Jordan Earns 11 Awards at National Technology Parade

The University of Jordan (UJ) delivered an outstanding performance at the 13th National Technology Parade, securing a total of 11 awards across multiple technology categories. Hosted by AlAhliyya Amman University in collaboration with the IEEE Jordan Section, the event brought together student innovators from universities across Jordan under the theme “Smart Solutions for a Better Future.”
UJ showcased 28 innovative projects spanning industrial technologies, health and biomedical engineering, education and e-learning, games and entertainment, assistive technologies, business solutions, and defense technologies. The university earned four first-place, three second-place, and four third-place awards, highlighting the breadth and quality of its research and innovation.
One of UJ’s most notable achievements came in the Education and E-Learning Technologies category, where it claimed all three top positions. The university also captured first place in both the Industrial Technologies and Health and Biomedical Technologies categories, with one industrial project additionally receiving the Best Project Using MATLAB award.
Students from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, the School of Engineering, and the School of Pharmacy played leading roles in the success, supported by dedicated academic mentors. The impressive results reflect UJ’s commitment to fostering innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and practical technological solutions that address real-world challenges while preparing students to become future technology leaders.
