22nd VNU-UET Student Scientific Research Conference Highlights High-Tech Innovation, International Publications, and Emerging Young Researchers in Vietnam

VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET) successfully hosted its 22nd Student Scientific Research Conference, showcasing outstanding student-led innovation across advanced technology and engineering fields. The event featured 39 exemplary projects selected from 162 submissions involving more than 400 students, reflecting the university’s strong research culture and commitment to nurturing young scientific talent. Many projects focused on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, telecommunications, computer vision, and intelligent systems, with 28 studies achieving international publication recognition. The conference highlighted research with strong practical applications aligned with sustainable development and Vietnam’s long-term national strategic goals. Award-winning projects included innovative solutions in integrated sensing and communication systems, tensor network optimization, and computational intelligence. University leaders emphasized that scientific research plays a vital role in developing creativity, resilience, and problem-solving skills among students from an early stage of their academic journey. By integrating education with research and fostering collaboration between students, faculty, and industry, the conference continues to strengthen VNU-UET’s position as a leading hub for technology innovation and young researcher development in Vietnam.
