King Abdulaziz University Launches World Landscape Architecture Month 2026 to Advance Sustainability, Urban Innovation, and Quality of Life Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030

King Abdulaziz University, through its Faculty of Architecture and Planning in collaboration with the Saudi Society of Landscape Architecture, has inaugurated World Landscape Architecture Month 2026, running from 26–30 April 2026. The initiative highlights the vital role of landscape architecture in promoting environmental sustainability, enhancing urban liveability, and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. Featuring academic lectures, expert panel discussions, workshops, and field activities, the programme brings together students, alumni, and industry leaders to exchange knowledge and explore innovative design solutions for resilient and sustainable urban environments. With a focus on integrating natural and built environments, the event underscores the discipline’s contribution to addressing environmental and social challenges while improving quality of life. It also strengthens awareness, innovation, and collaboration in shaping future-ready public spaces across the region.
