Empowering Future Talent: Khalifa University of Science and Technology Concludes First Athar Mentorship Cohort with Strong Alumni Impact
Khalifa University of Science and Technology has successfully concluded the inaugural cohort of its Athar Mentorship Program, an alumni-driven initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world career readiness. Over six months, the programme connected students and fresh graduates with experienced alumni mentors, fostering professional growth, confidence, and career clarity. With 59 active mentor–mentee engagements involving 31 alumni and 59 participants, the initiative demonstrated the power of community-driven learning. Supported by a series of workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions, Athar provided participants with practical insights and industry exposure. University leadership highlighted the programme as a flagship effort in nurturing well-rounded graduates while strengthening alumni engagement. The success of this first cohort sets a strong foundation for future expansion, reinforcing the university’s commitment to developing skilled, adaptable, and career-ready professionals.
