Strengthening Academic Collaboration: Curtin Malaysia and UBD’s Strategic Courtesy Visit

A delegation from the Faculty of Business at Curtin University Malaysia visited the University of Brunei Darussalam’s School of Business and Economics on May 12, 2025. This visit was part of initiatives aimed at enhancing regional academic collaboration and engagement with industry.

Objective of the Visit

The objective of the visit was to promote cooperation in teaching, research, and innovation between the two institutions, which are recognized for their contributions to business education in the region. The delegation, led by Associate Professor Goi Chai Lee, included Dr. Lynn Ling and Dr. Fayrene Chieng. They met with Dr. Haji Masairol Haji Masri, the Assistant Vice-Chancellor for Industry Engagement and Enterprise Development at UBD, along with other senior leaders.

During this meeting, discussions focused on establishing impactful joint initiatives that reflect a shared commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
